CITY CENTER AT HANNA AVENUE
In January 2022, the City of Tampa broke ground on the City Center at Hanna Ave – an exciting development that will help improve city services, offer a gathering space for the community, and support equal business opportunity. 35% of the construction work at the City Center site is being completed by black-owned and small, locally-owned businesses. Tampa's Santa Fest & Tree Lighting returns to downtown on Saturday, December 3rd! Grab a spot along Madison Avenue for the parade starting at 1pm, then stick around for family-friendly entertainment in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park all afternoon. Don't miss Tampa's Tree Lighting Ceremony starting around 6pm followed by a free showing of Fred Claus in the park at 6:30pm. More info
TREE REMOVAL STATUTORY EXEMPTION
Senate Bill 518 amends the requirements that must be met in order for a property owner to utilize Florida Statutes § 163.045 to be exempt from the City of Tampa’s tree removal permitting requirements. Learn more about the updated requirements.
