Budget Resolutions

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation and/or appropriation of $191,120 within the Parking Operations Fund for use by the Logistics and Asset Management Department/Facilities Management Division for painting services for the Whiting and Tampa Convention Center Parking Garages; providing an effective date.

Motion: (Hurtak-Miranda) That Council adopts said resolution. Motion carried unanimously.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $16,938,208 within the Central Park, Channel District, Downtown Non-Core, Drew Park, East Tampa, West Tampa, Tampa Heights Riverfront, Ybor I and Ybor II Community Development Agency (CRA) Funds for affordable housing initiatives; providing an effective date.

Motion: (Carlson-Gudes) That Council adopts said resolution. Motion carried unanimously with Viera being absent at vote.

Resolution making certain changes in the Budget of the City of Tampa for the Fiscal Year Ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $3,000 within the Law Enforcement Trust Fund – Federal Forfeiture for use by the Tampa Police Department for training expenditures; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $929,276 within the West Tampa, Ybor I and Channel District CRA Funds; providing an effective date.

Motion: (Carlson-Maniscalco) That Council adopts said resolution. Motion carried unanimously.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $16,190.56 within the Transportation Grants Capital Projects Fund for the N. Florida at W. Wilder Avenue Traffic Signal Upgrade project close out; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation and/or appropriation of $387,176.30 within the Utilities Services Tax Fund and the Utilities Services Tax Capital Projects Fund for use by the OnBase Agenda and Document Management System project; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $15,320 within the Tampa Union Station Fund for the Union Station Concession and Donations Funded Improvements project; providing an effective date.

Motion: (Miranda-Maniscalco) That Council adopts said resolution. Motion carried unanimously with Gudes being absent at vote.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $845,386 within the Transportation Grants Capital Projects Fund for the Green Spine Cycle Track – Ph 3C from 13th Avenue to 21st Avenue project; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the Fiscal Year Ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $275,000 within the Other Grants Fund for the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) - Tampa Bay Regional Inundation Coordination Grant; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the Budget of the City of Tampa for the Fiscal Year Ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $48,530 within the Law Enforcement Trust Fund – Federal Forfeiture for use by the Tampa Police Department for training expenditures; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation and/or appropriation of $5,000,000 within the FEMA Reimbursement Fund for costs associated with Hurricane Ian response and recovery activities; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation and/or appropriation of $328,077 within the Parking Operations Fund and the Parking Capital Fund for use by the Parking Division for the Automated Parking Management System; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $117,000 within the Transportation Grants Capital Projects Fund for use by the Interbay Boulevard at Tanker Way Intersection Improvements project; providing an effective date.

Motion: (Maniscalco-Miranda) That Council adopts said resolution. Motion carried unanimously with Gudes being absent at vote.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $210,000 within the Channel District Community Development Agency (CRA) Fund to appropriate a contribution towards the cost of removing, relocating and undergrounding certain Tampa Electric Company facilities; providing an effective date. (Continued from December 1, 2022)

Motion: (Miranda-Maniscalco) That Council adopts said resolution. Motion carried unanimously by voice roll call vote of 6-0 with Carlson abstaining.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $2,787.88 for use by the City Clerk's Office within the General Fund Per Council Motion 87, File No. B2023-2; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $442,792 for use by the Mobility Department within the Transportation Grants Capital Projects Fund for the Green Spine Cycle Track – Ph 3B from 7th Avenue to 13th Avenue project; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $20,060 within the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) – Interstate highway Expansion Phase I Trust Fund for historic rehabilitation of property; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $16,284.54 within the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Fund to appropriate program income for CDBG program activities; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the Budget of the City of Tampa for the Fiscal Year Ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $49,000 within the Law Enforcement Trust Fund – Federal Forfeiture for use by the Tampa Police Department for training expenditures; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation and/or appropriation of $26,000 within the General Fund for use by the Technology & Innovation Department for operating capital expenditures; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $1,421,386.40 within the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) grant fund to appropriate Program Income for SHIP grant program activities providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation and/or appropriation of $1,016,211 for use by the Training Burn Simulator and Skills Tower project within the Non Ad Bonds CIP Series 2023 Fund for design-build services; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $210,000 within the Channel District Community Development Agency (CRA) Fund to appropriate a contribution towards the cost of removing, relocating and undergrounding certain Tampa Electric Company facilities; providing an effective date.

Motion: (Maniscalco-Hurtak) That said agenda item be continued to December 15, 2022 under Staff Reports and Unfinished Business. Motion carried unanimously.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $58,474.84 within the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) Grant Fund to appropriate program income for HOME Grant Program activities; providing an effective date.

Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; approving the transfer, reallocation and/or appropriation of $350,000 within the Police Grants Fund for use by the Tampa Police Department for the FY22 COPS Implementing Crisis Intervention Teams- Community Policing Development Solicitation Grant; providing an effective date.
