United Way Suncoast is providing full scholarships for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) programs in partnership with Hillsborough Community College Allied Health Institute for Corporate and Continuing Education throughout 2022.  

If you, or someone you know, is looking for a stepping stone into the nursing field, or just wants a new career, don't miss out on this great opportunity. Enrollment is now open for the final class of 2022, which begins on November 10.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), also known as Certified Nurse’s Aides, work in a variety of healthcare settings providing basic healthcare services to patients at nursing homes/rehab facilities and hospitals. This training program is conducted in the classroom, labs, and online and includes 40 hours in the clinical setting. Students completing the course can work immediately as a Home Health Aide and will be eligible to take the CNA state licensing exam.

Full scholarships are available to residents of Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota, and DeSoto counties. Must be 18 or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
