"Are You Ready Tampa Bay?" is an initiative designed to provide Tampa's citizens with common sense tools that will assist them before, during and following emergencies of almost any type. It allows them to be better prepared to safeguard the health and well being of themselves, their family, their neighbors, and their community.
This initiative includes the annual community preparedness events, educational displays, tips from experts, safety demonstrations, emergency vehicle displays, and vendors of safety products, personal disaster preparedness and home retrofit products, etc. If you would like more information on how to become "ready" for a disaster or would like our office to come speak at a community event, please send a message to the Emergency Coordinator.
