Tampa Old City Hall and other downtown bridges and parks facilities will shine purple on July 26 in honor of the 32nd anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)—the civil rights legislation that prohibits disability discrimination.
Purple is the global color for disability, symbolizing "a new positive narrative about the contribution of disabled people in the workforce and the wider community."
Take a picture of Tampa lit up in purple and share a public post with the hashtag #ADA32TAMPA
