City Center at Hanna Ave Community Room
2555 E Hanna Ave
Tampa, FL 33610
United States
The event is the first of its kind to be held in Tampa Bay, and the first public nonprofit event to be hosted at the Tampa City Center on Hanna Ave.
This is going to be a FUN afternoon for youth ages 6-13 that empowers and prepares kids and parents to navigate adversity and build resilience in any situation where there is conflict. From making new friends and learning how to stand up for them to free ice cream from Dairy Joy, gifts and goodies to take home, a keynote by a MLB World Series Star, and music by DJ Fresh - it will be an event that feels good and does good too.
With the City of Tampa Community Engagement & Partnerships Department, Wee Macree and IAmMore Foundation will also feature three parent panels with expert support, three youth panels with educational and inspiring activities; and five skills mastery stations. The event will conclude with a pledge station commitment to be an ‘Upstander.’
