NOTICE OF SPECIAL CALL PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2023 COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BUDGET

The purpose of this special call public hearing is the consideration by City of Tampa Community Redevelopment Agency (“CRA”) of the FY 2023 CRA Budget for all Community Redevelopment Areas of the City of Tampa.  Members of the public can either attend this public hearing in person in City Council Chambers located in Old City Hall or virtually participate in this public hearing by using what is referred to by State of Florida statutes and rules as “communications media technology” or “CMT”.

Pre-Registration is required to speak virtually during “Public Comment” with the use of CMT:

In order to participate in the public hearing with the use of CMT, please complete the form at https://www.tampa.gov/PublicComment AND state on the form under “Request Type” that you wish to speak live during the public comment period.  You will then be contacted with additional instructions on how to participate live through the use of CMT.  Registration for speaking remotely with the use of CMT must be requested at least 24-hours prior to the meeting.

Copies of the proposed CRA budget are contained within the City of Tampa’s overall proposed budget, which is available for review on the City’s website at https://www.tampagov.net/budget or at the City Clerk’s Office, 3rd Floor, City Hall, 315 East Kennedy Boulevard, Tampa, Florida, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding City holidays).  A copy of the proposed FY 2023 CRA budget, together with proposed FY 2023 CRA budget supplement, is also available for review on the CRA’s website at https://www.tampa.gov/CRAs.

 

Please note that if any person decides to appeal any decision made by the CRA, with respect to any matter considered at the meeting or hearing, they will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.0105).
