City of Tampa McKay Bay Scale House and Transfer Station Modifies Hours for the Week of March 13, 2023

Due to an unforeseen service interruption at the City of Tampa McKay Bay Waste to Energy Facility, the McKay Bay Scale House and Transfer Station have modified hours for the general public and commercial customers. 

 Monday, March 13, 2023, through Saturday, March 18, 2023, the McKay Bay Scale House and Transfer Station at 114 S. 34th St. will open at 7 am and close at 1 pm daily. 

Residents are encouraged to use alternative waste disposal facilities. Please use the contacts below for more information on accepted items, rates, and facility hours.

All collection services may experience delays:

Trash, recycling, and yard waste collection service may experience delays. In case of delay, please leave your cart/yard waste curbside through the rest of your regularly scheduled collection day. Our team is working diligently to get routes completed.

Commercial collection may experience delays.
