After the keynote address, Sheramy Bundrick, Scott Perry, Jennifer Roberts and Davide Tanasi will continue the discussion about ancient democracy and its influences on modern politics.

Moderated by Branko van Oppen, the discussion will focus on the development of popular government in ancient Greece, its impact on the foundation of the United States of America. Additionally, the panelists will consider the ancient monuments and works of art related to the birth of democracy in Classical Athens during the 5th century BCE ancient art and 19th-century photography illustrating archaeological sites on display at the Tampa Museum of Art will pass the review as well. Against the backdrop of the 2024 U.S. Presidential Elections, the panel will engage the audience in a debate about current events and lessons learned from the near and distant past.
