Free Community Forum on Body Image

Tampa teens, their parents, and all interested individuals are invited to a FREE educational and interactive forum on body image, dieting, and how to have a healthy relationship with your body. The event, EveryBODY Matters, will be held on Wednesday, April 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. virtually via Zoom.

The forum is sponsored by the Mayor’s Youth Leadership Council, a program of the City of Tampa that allows local teens to develop their leadership skills and apply them through various service projects and workshops.

Expert panelists will speak about personal body image, fad vs. real diets, how to cultivate a good relationship with your body, and the cultural and psychological issues that lead to poor body image. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask each of the panelists questions directly in an open discussion.
