This Public Hearing of Tampa City Council will be conducted with a live in-person quorum of the Tampa City Council present in City Council Chambers. However, in light of continuing COVID-19 government-issued health standards or guidance in effect, members of the public shall have the ability to participate “virtually” through what is referred to by Florida Statutes and rules as “communications media technology” (“CMT”).

The public and citizens of the City of Tampa will be able to watch, listen or view this meeting on:

The public is invited to participate for the purpose of permitting any and all citizens desiring to do so to submit their criticisms, recommendations, suggestions or questions regarding said annual budget(s) during the public hearing virtually by using what is referred to by State of Florida statutes and rules as “communications media technology” (“CMT”) and by the following alternative methods:

4. Speak remotely during public comment with the use of audio CMT:
Complete the form at AND state on the form under “Request Type” that you wish to speak live during the public comment period. You will then be contacted with additional instructions on how to participate live by audio only through the use of CMT. Registration for speaking remotely must be requested no later than 5:00 PM, Friday, September 24, 2021. Persons requiring help in accessing this means of public participation should

5. Participate by using CMT available at Old City Hall:
Persons, including those who may not have access to a communications media device, have the option of participating via communications media technology, which will be made available to the public by the City of Tampa, during the hybrid live/virtual meeting, at:

PLEASE NOTE: Those attending the meeting in person should wear face masks inside Old City Hall.

All written comments must be received no later than 5:00 PM, Friday, September 24, 2021 to be distributed timely to City Council members and made part of the record. Public comments timely received by mail, email, web or via CMT will be afforded equal consideration as if the public comments were made in person. Copies of the entire proposed budget are available for review on the City’s website at or at the City Clerk’s Office, 3rd Floor, City Hall, 315 East Kennedy Boulevard, Tampa, Florida, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Any person who decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at this public hearing or meeting are advised, in accordance with Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, that they will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to hire a court reporter to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
