The National Alumnae Association of Spelman College (NAASC) - Tampa Bay Area Chapter presents Spelman: A Legacy in Blue - Inaugural Scholarship Gala with a Twist and Purpose, taking place at the Westin Tampa Bay Blu/Vu Rooftop on Saturday, October 1. 2022 from 8 p.m.. until 11 p.m.

This scholarship fundraiser is uniquely inspired by the legacy of our esteemed Spelman Sister, Blanche Armwood, a Tampa native!. Ms. Armwood graduated from Spelman College (then Spelman Seminary( in 1906 following her studies at St. Peter Claver Catholic School.  Blanche Armwood was an educator, an activist, and a trailblazer. During the Gala we shall recognize women of color in the Tampa Bay Area who embody these attributes with community awards!

Join NAASC Tampa Bay Area Chapter for a fun and excited event celebrating the premiere historically black institution for women of African descent, Spelman College.  The Inaugural scholarship fundraiser will be a non-tradition Gala that will be a FUN, LUXURY COCKTAIL GALA.

The National Alumnae Association of Spelman College (NAASC) is a 501c3 and the official organization that supports Spelman College, a historically black college for women, through financial gifts, student recruitment, sisterhood, community service, and recognition of Spelman women.
