W Cleveland St and S Rome Ave Signalization Project

Project Location

Project Description

City Project No: 1001849; FPN 443711-2

This project provides for the design and construction of a new traffic signal based on a safety-related traffic warrant study.

Two new mast arm traffic signals at the intersection of W Cleveland Street and S Rome Avenue will be constructed and additional minor geometric changes will be made as appropriate.  Improvements include curb bulb-outs, new crosswalks, pedestrian signals, ADA-compliant ramps, detectable warning mats, and drainage modifications.

New signals will reduce severe right-angle traffic crashes and provide better transportation network connectivity for all modes.
