The City of Tampa's Emergency Management teams continue to prepare for Hurricane Ian, which may significantly impact the region and cause serious flooding. As a precaution, the City of Tampa continues to activate the three self-serve sandbag distribution sites from 9am-2pm today. The car line will close at 2pm sharp, or while supplies last. Please be prepared for long lines.

The City of Tampa Parks & Recreation team will have bags, sand and shovels available. Please be ready to park your car to make and load your sand bags, which will be limited to 10 bags per carload. Assistance will be made available to help those who cannot fill their own sandbags. We encourage everyone to please help your neighbors in line to help speed up the process.
