A portion of W Cleveland Street between S Hyde Park Avenue and S Boulevard will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Monday, March 9, 2020, for utility work. A utility contractor will install a gas service line across W Cleveland Street between S Magnolia Avenue and S Fielding Avenue to provide service to property on the southwest corner of S Fielding Avenue and W Kennedy Boulevard. One (1) westbound lane on W Cleveland Street between S Cedar Avenue and S Fielding Avenue will close at 9 am on March 9, 2020.
Two (2) westbound lanes of traffic on W Cleveland Street between S Cedar Avenue and S Fielding Avenue will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.
The sidewalk on the south side of W Cleveland Street between S Cedar Avenue and S Fielding Avenue will be closed during construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.
It is anticipated that all lanes on W Cleveland Street between S Cedar Avenue and S Fielding Avenue will be open by 4 pm on Friday, March 27, 2020, weather permitting.
The City recommends using alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
