A portion of W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between N Lois Avenue and N Dale Mabry Highway will close daily beginning on Monday, May 11, 2020 for utility construction. A utility contractor will be installing a equipment for a small wireless facility on the south side of W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between N Church Avenue and N Dale Mabry Highway.
One (1) eastbound lane on W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between N Cortez Avenue and N Dale Mabry Highway will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on May 11, 2020.
Two (2) eastbound lanes on W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between N Cortez Avenue and N Dale Mabry Highway will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.
All lanes on W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between N Cortez Avenue and N Dale Mabry Highway will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
Eastbound motorists can use W Tampa Bay Boulevard between N Lois Avenue and N Dale Mabry Highway, in lieu of W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
