A portion of E Cass Street between N Tampa Street and Ashley Drive will close daily, beginning at 9 am on Monday, December 7, 2020 for utility construction. A utility contractor will be accessing a manhole at the intersection of E Cass Street and N Ashley Drive.
The westbound lanes on E Cass Street between N Tampa Street and N Ashley Drive will close daily at 9 am beginning on Monday, December 7, 2020.
Sidewalks in the work areas will be closed during the construction. Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks with signage.
All lanes on E Cass Street between N Tampa Street and N Ashley Drive will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
