North Rome Avenue from West Cass St to West Fig Street will be closed from Friday, July 24, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. through Friday, January 8, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. as part of the Cypress Street Outfall Regional Stormwater Improvements Project. A city contractor will be installing box culverts, water mains, wastewater, sidewalks, and a new roadway. The sidewalks in the construction area will be closed. Pedestrians will be detoured to other sidewalks in the area via signage.
Work on the West Cass Street segment between North Oregon Avenue and North Rome Avenue began on February 11, 2020, and is anticipated to continue through October 31, 2020, with schedules contingent upon weather conditions.
