A portion of S Willow Avenue between W Kennedy Boulevard and W Cleveland Street will close at 9 am beginning on Monday, May 4, 2020 for road construction. A city contractor will be installing a northbound right turn lane on S Willow Avenue at the W Kennedy Boulevard intersection as part of the Citywide Roadway Improvements Willow/Kennedy Turn Lane project.
All lanes on S Willow Avenue between W Kennedy Boulevard and W Cleveland Street will close at 9 am on May 4, 2020.
The sidewalk in the construction area will be closed during construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.
All lanes on S Willow Avenue between W Kennedy Boulevard and W Cleveland Street will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, May 22, 2020, weather permitting.
The City recommends using alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
