Starting at 6 a.m. on September 12, department crews will close the curbside eastbound lane on W Kennedy Blvd between S Delaware Avenue and S Edison Ave to begin repairs on a manhole. Starting at Delaware Ave, onsite signage will advise motorists to merge left into the inside lane. Normal traffic patterns will resume immediately after the work site.
This repair is scheduled to be completed by 5 p.m., weather permitting. A high-resolution map of the work area and lane shift is embedded below. The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
