Effective immediately, lane closures are in place on East Busch Boulevard at the intersection of 26th Street to replace a deteriorated manhole ring and cover.
The following lanes are closed:
- One (1) inside eastbound traffic lane on Busch Boulevard
- The eastbound turn lane on Busch Boulevard for northbound traffic onto N 26th Street
- The westbound turn lane on Busch Boulevard for southbound traffic onto N 26th Street
Two (2) eastbound lanes on Busch Boulevard will remain open. Except for the turn lane, all westbound lanes will remain open. This repair and restoration of the area will be completed by close of business on Wednesday, June 9. Inclement weather may delay this repair schedule. An update will be provided if the repair timeline is delayed.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion. See all road closures at www.tampagov.net/RoadClosures
