In early December, a contractor will begin work on a manhole rehabilitation project for the City of Tampa Wastewater Department on S West Shore Blvd. To facilitate this work, there will be intermittent lane closures on S West Shore Boulevard between W San Rafael Street and W Longfellow Avenue. These closures will occur only when workers are present. There will also be intermittent lane closures on the ancillary streets in this area during this time. Safe access to homes and businesses will be maintained.
This project completion date is by close of business on January 3, 2022, weather permitting. The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
