Starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, department crews are closing the two (2) left-turn lanes on N 22nd Street between E 13th and E 14 Avenues to repair a sewer mainline pipe. Starting at E 11th Avenue, onsite signage will advise motorists to merge into the open lane. Immediately after the work site, the two (2) left-turn lanes will reopen to normal traffic patterns. Safe access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area.
This repair and restoration of the road is scheduled for completion by close of business on Friday, April 8, weather permitting. All lanes will be reopened and normal traffic patterns will resume. A high-resolution map of the lane mergers and work area has been embedded below. The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
