Beginning at 11am today, there will be transitional lane closures on South Westshore Boulevard between West Estrella Street and West Clear Street while the Tampa Water Department conducts scheduled maintenance on the water distribution system. Barricades and flaggers will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 5pm each day and then close again at 9am the following morning to continue the work. Please use caution when driving in the area.
The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by 5pm, Friday, March 3.Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
