On March 13 at 9am, S Ferdinand Ave between W San Pedro and W Tacon Streets will be closed by Wastewater Department crews to begin emergency repairs on a wastewater gravity mainline and restore a depression in the road. Detour signage and traffic control devices will be located on-site to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area. Safe access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area.
The repair and restoration work are scheduled to be completed by Friday, March 17. Normal traffic patterns will then resume. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. See all road closures at www.tampagov.net/RoadClosures.
