Date changed to October 27 for southbound lane closure on S Manhattan Avenue between  W Vasconia Street and W Kensington Avenue for Road Restoration Project

The start date for the road restoration project on S Manhattan Avenue between W Vasconia Street and W Kensington Avenue has been changed to October 27. This will push back the completion date to October 28.  The details of the project remain unchanged. For reference, the map of the work area and lane shift is embedded below.

On October 27th, department crews will close the southbound curbside lane on S Manhattan Avenue between W Vasconia Street and W Kensington Avenue to complete a road restoration project. Motorists will be advised to merge left to the inside lane at W Vasconia Avenue. Normal traffic patterns will resume after the worksite. Northbound traffic will not be impacted. Signage will be on-site to assist with traffic flow. Safe access for residences and businesses will be maintained.

The scheduled completion date for this project is the close of business on October 28, weather permitting. A high-resolution map of the work area and lane shift is embedded below. The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion. See all road closures at www.tampa.gov/RoadClosures
