Temporary Closures for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade - Monday, January 17, 2022

Traffic is expected to be heavier on Monday in East Tampa due to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade. Barricades and signs will be in the area to assist with traffic flow. Please use caution when driving in the area. Modifications may be necessary during the closure.

Road Closure Schedule:

5:00 a.m.

  • N 15th Street between E Columbus Drive and E Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard

7:00 a.m.

  • N Avenue Republica De Cuba /N 14th Street between E Columbus Drive and E 21st Avenue
  • E 21st Avenue between N 12th Street and N 17th Street

8:00 a.m.

  • E Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard between N 15th Street and N 22nd Street

10:00 a.m.

  • N 22nd Street between E Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and E Hillsborough Avenue

A return to normal traffic patterns is expected by 5:00 p.m.
