A portion of Bayshore Boulevard between Interbay Boulevard and MacDill Air Force Base Bayshore Gate will close daily from 9 am to 3 pm beginning on Thursday, December 9, 2021. A utility contractor will be installing gas service to a property on the east side of Bayshore Boulevard between S Kelly Road and Sanders Drive. The southbound lane on Bayshore Boulevard between Sanders Drive and S Kelly Road will close at 9 am beginning on December 9, 2021.
Southbound and northbound traffic on Bayshore Boulevard between Sanders Drive and S Kelly Road will be intermittently maintained in the northbound lane at all times during construction, with delays.
It is anticipated that all lanes on Bayshore Boulevard between Sanders Drive and S Kelly Road will be open by 3 pm on Sunday, January 9, 2022, weather permitting.
The City recommends using alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
Southbound and northbound motorists can use S MacDill Avenue between Interbay Boulevard and MacDill Air Force Base, in lieu of Bayshore Boulevard.
