Temporary Lane Closure on Bayshore Boulevard to begin January 4, 2021 for Utility Construction

A portion of Bayshore Boulevard between Bayshore-Davis Islands S Ramp and Davis Islands-Bayshore N Ramp will close daily from 9 am to 3 pm beginning on January 4, 2021. A utility contractor will be installing electrical conduit on the south side of Bayshore Boulevard between Bayshore-Davis Islands S Ramp and Davis Islands-Bayshore N Ramp for a small wireless facility on the south side of Bayshore Boulevard. One (1) northbound lane on Bayshore Boulevard between Bayshore-Davis Islands S Ramp and Davis Islands-Bayshore N Ramp will close at 9 am on January 4, 2021.

One (1) northbound lane on Bayshore Boulevard between Bayshore-Davis Islands S Ramp and Davis Islands-Bayshore N Ramp will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

Sidewalks in the work area will be closed. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times via signage to other sidewalks in the area.

The lane closure will be suspended during the week of Superbowl.

All lanes on Bayshore Boulevard between Bayshore-Davis Islands S Ramp and Davis Islands-Bayshore N Ramp will be open by 3 pm on February 4, 2021, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorist use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.

Northbound motorist can use W Swann Ave and South Boulevard between Bayshore-Davis Islands S-Ramp and W Platt Street, in lieu of Bayshore Boulevard.
