Temporary Lane Closure on E Osborne Avenue to begin April 22, 2022, for Utility Construction

A portion of W Osborne Avenue between N Florida Avenue and N Highland Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Friday, April 22, 2022, for utility construction.  A utility contractor will be connecting a gas service line on the north side of W Osborne Avenue between N Florida Avenue and N Tampa Street.  The westbound lane on W Osborne Avenue between N Florida Avenue and N Tampa Street will close at 9 am beginning on April 22, 2022.

Westbound and eastbound traffic will be intermittently maintained on the south side of W Osborne Avenue between N Florida Avenue and N Highland Avenue at all times during construction, with delays.

All lanes on W Osborne Avenue between N Florida Avenue and N Highland Avenue will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, June 17, 2022, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion. 

Westbound and eastbound motorists can use W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard or W Hillsborough Avenue between N Florida Avenue and N Highland Avenue, in lieu of W Osborne Avenue.
