A portion of Interbay Boulevard between S Manhattan Avenue and S Dale Mabry Highway closed daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 for utility construction. A utility contractor will install communication conduit along Interbay Boulevard between S Manhattan Avenue and S Dale Mabry Highway as part of the City of Tampa Traffic Signal Upgrade project.
The eastbound lane on Interbay Boulevard between S Lois Avenue and S Richard Avenue closed beginning at 9 am on November 30, 2021.
Eastbound and westbound traffic on Interbay Boulevard between S Lois Avenue and S Richard Avenue will be intermittently maintained on the north side of Interbay Boulevard at all times during construction, with delays.
All lanes on Interbay Boulevard between S Lois Avenue and S Richard Avenue will be open by 4 pm on Wednesday, October 27, 2022, weather permitting.
The Citywide Tampa Traffic Signal Upgrade project is scheduled for completion in March of 2024.
Subsequent lane closures on Interbay Boulevard between S Lois Avenue and S Richard Avenue are expected to occur during the project timeframe.
The City recommends using alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
Eastbound and westbound motorists can W Gandy Boulevard between S Dale Mabry Highway and S Lois Avenue, in lieu of Interbay Boulevard.
