A portion of N 22nd Street between E 13th Avenue and E 17th Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Monday, February 22, 2021 for utility construction. A City of Tampa contractor will be cleaning sewer lines on the east side of N 22nd Street between E 15th Avenue and E 17th Avenue. One (1) northbound lane on N 22nd Street between E 13th Avenue and E 17th Avenue will close at 9 am on February 22, 2021.
One (1) northbound lane will be maintained on N 22nd Street between E 13th Avenue and E 17th Avenue at all times, during the construction, with delays.
Sidewalks within the work areas will be closed during construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.
All lanes on N 22nd Street between E 13th Avenue and E 17th Avenue will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, April 16, 2021, weather permitting.
The City recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
