A portion of N Howard Avenue between W Kennedy Boulevard and W Cypress Street will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Monday, March 15, 2021 for driveway construction. A private contractor will be constructing a driveway and sidewalks on the east side of N Howard Avenue between W Kennedy Boulevard and W North A Street for a commercial development. One (1) northbound lane on N Howard Avenue between W Kennedy Boulevard and W North A Street will close at 9 am beginning on March 15, 2021.
Two (2) northbound lanes on N Howard Avenue between W Kennedy Boulevard and W North A Street will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.
Sidewalks within the work area will be closed during construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.
All lanes on N Howard Avenue between W Kennedy Boulevard and W North A Street will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Saturday, March 20, 2021, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
