A portion of N Lois Avenue between W Boy Scout Boulevard and W Kennedy Boulevard will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. A utility contractor will be installing a small wireless facility and associated electrical conduits on the west side of N Lois Avenue between W Cypress Street and Lois I-275 South Ramp. One (1) southbound lane of N Lois Avenue between W Nassau Street and Lois I-275 South Ramp will close at 9 am beginning on July 6, 2021.
One (1) southbound lane of N Lois Avenue between W Nassau Street and Lois I-275 South Ramp will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.
Sidewalks within the work area will be closed during construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.
It is anticipated that all lanes on N Lois Avenue between W Nassau Street and Lois I-275 South Ramp will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, weather permitting.
The City recommends using alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
Southbound motorists and trucks can use N Dale Mabry Highway or N West Shore Boulevard between W Spruce Street/W Boy Scout Boulevard/W Columbus Drive and W Kennedy Boulevard, in lieu of N Lois Avenue.
