A portion of N West Shore Boulevard between W Cypress Street and W Spruce Street/W Boy Scout Boulevard will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, for site improvements. A private contractor will be installing a driveway apron, curbing and sidewalk on the east side of N West Shore Boulevard between the W Cypress Street and W Spruce Street/W Boy Scout Boulevard. One (1) northbound lane on N West Shore Boulevard between W Cypress Street and W Spruce Street/W Boy Scout Boulevard will close at 9 am beginning on June 22, 2021.
One (1) northbound lane on the N West Shore Boulevard between W Cypress Street and W Spruce Street/W Boy Scout Boulevard will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.
Sidewalks within the work area will be closed during construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.
It is anticipated that all lanes on the N West Shore Boulevard between W Cypress Street and W Spruce Street/W Boy Scout Boulevard will reopen by 4 pm on Friday, July 31, 2021, weather permitting.
The City recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid congestion.
Northbound motorists and trucks can use N Lois Avenue between W Cypress Street and W Boy Scout Boulevard, in lieu of N West Shore Boulevard.
