Temporary Lane Closure N West Shore Boulevard to begin October 18, 2021 for Utility Construction

A portion of N West Shore Boulevard between W Cypress Street and W Spruce Street will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Monday, October 18, 2021 for utility construction. A private contractor will be installing communication conduit on the east side of N West Shore Boulevard between W Cypress Street and W Main Street. One (1) northbound lane on N West Shore Boulevard between W Cypress Street and W Main Street will close beginning at 9 am October 18, 2021.

One (1) northbound lane on N West Shore Boulevard between W Cypress Street and W Main Street will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

The sidewalks within the work areas will be closed during the work operations. Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks with signage.

All lanes on N West Shore Boulevard between W Cypress Street and W Main Street will be open by 4 pm on Thursday, November 18, 2021, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid congestion.

Northbound motorists and trucks can use N Lois Avenue between W Cypress Street and W Boy Scout Boulevard / W Spruce Street, in lieu of N West Shore Boulevard.
