A portion of S West Shore Boulevard between W Swann Avenue and W El Prado Boulevard will close on Monday, October 4, 2021, for utility construction. A utility contractor will be installing a small wireless facility on the west side of S West Shore Boulevard between N Dundee Street and S Dundee Street. The southbound lane on S West Shore Boulevard between W Tennyson Avenue and S Dundee Street will close at 9 am on October 4, 2021.
Southbound and northbound traffic will be intermittently maintained on the east side of S West Shore Boulevard between W Tennyson Avenue and S Dundee Street at all times during construction, with delays.
Sidewalks in the work area will be closed during construction. Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks with signage.
All lanes on S West Shore Boulevard between W Tennyson Avenue and S Dundee Street will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Thursday, November 4, 2021, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
Southbound and northbound motorists can use S Lois Avenue/Henderson Boulevard/S Manhattan Avenue between W Swann Avenue and W El Prado Boulevard, in lieu of S West Shore Boulevard.
