Temporary Lane Closure W Euclid Avenue to begin January 5, 2022 for Utility Construction

A portion of W Euclid Avenue between S Manhattan Avenue and S Church Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 for utility construction.  A utility contractor will be installing a gas service line across W Euclid Avenue for a resident on the north side of W Euclid Avenue between S Lois Avenue and W Clark Circle. The eastbound lane on W Euclid Avenue between S Thatcher Avenue and S Clark Avenue will close at 9 am beginning on January 5, 2022.

Eastbound and westbound traffic will be intermittently maintained on the north side of W Euclid Avenue between S Thatcher Avenue and S Clark Avenue all times during construction, with delays. 

All lanes on W Euclid Avenue between S Thatcher Avenue and S Clark Avenue will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, weather permitting.   

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid congestion.

Eastbound and westbound motorists can use W El Prado Boulevard between S Manhattan Avenue and S Church Avenue in lieu of W Euclid Avenue.
