Temporary Lane Closure W Euclid Avenue to begin March 23, 2021 for Utility Construction

A portion of W Euclid Avenue between Bayshore Boulevard and S MacDill Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 for utility construction. A utility contractor will be installing a gas service line on the north side of W Euclid Avenue between Bayshore Boulevard and S MacDill Avenue. The westbound lane on W Euclid Avenue between Bayshore Boulevard and S MacDill Avenue will close at 9 am beginning on March 23, 2021.

Westbound and eastbound traffic will be intermittently maintained on the south side of W Euclid Avenue between Bayshore Boulevard and S MacDill Avenue at all times during construction, with delays.

The sidewalks in the construction area will be closed during construction.  Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks in the area via signage.

It is anticipated that all lanes on W Euclid Avenue between Bayshore Boulevard and S MacDill Avenue will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Sunday, August 22, 2021, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid congestion.

Westbound and eastbound motorists can use W El Prado Boulevard or W Gandy Boulevard between Bayshore Boulevard and S MacDill Avenue, in lieu of W Euclid Avenue.
