A portion of W Euclid Avenue between S MacDill Avenue and S Himes Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Monday, March 8, 2021 for utility construction. A utility contractor will be installing and replacing gas mains and service lines along W Euclid Avenue between Waverly Place and Waverly Circle.
The westbound lane on W Euclid Avenue between Waverly Place and Euclid-Crosstown E Ramp will close beginning at 9 am on March 8, 2021.
Westbound and eastbound traffic will be intermittently maintained on the south side of W Euclid Avenue between Waverly Place and Euclid-Crosstown E Ramp at all times during construction, with delays.
The sidewalks in the construction area will be closed during construction. Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks in the area via signage.
It is anticipated that all lanes on W Euclid Avenue between Waverly Circle and Euclid-Crosstown E Ramp will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, June 18, 2021, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid congestion.
Westbound and eastbound motorists can use W El Prado Boulevard between S MacDill Avenue and S Himes Avenue, in lieu of W Euclid Avenue
