Temporary Lane Closures Davis Boulevard to begin March 22nd 2021 for Utility Construction

A portion of the Davis Boulevard between E Davis Boulevard and Davis Islands Bridge will close nightly from 8 pm to 5 am beginning on Monday, March 22, 2021 for utility construction. A utility contractor will be installing electrical conduit for the Tampa General Hospital improvements project on Davis Boulevard between Arbor Place and Davis Islands Bridge. One (1) northbound lane on Davis Boulevard between Arbor Place and Davis Islands Bridge will close beginning at 8 pm on March 22, 2021.

One (1) lane of northbound traffic will be maintained on Davis Boulevard between Arbor Place and Davis Islands Bridge at all times during construction, with delays.

The sidewalk within the work areas will be closed during construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other available sidewalks at all times during construction.

All lanes on Davis Boulevard between Davis Islands Bridge and Arbor Place will be open to traffic by 5:00 am on Thursday, April 22, 2021, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists traveling at night from Davis Islands, allow more time to drive northbound on Davis Boulevard from March 22, 2021 to April 22, 2021.
