A portion of E Cumberland Avenue between S Meridian Avenue and S Nebraska Avenue will close daily from 9 am and 4 pm beginning on Monday, September 27, 2021 for road maintenance. A City contractor will repair the existing brick crosswalk on E Cumberland Avenue on the west side S Meridian Avenue.
Two (2) lanes on E Cumberland Avenue between S Meridian Avenue and S Caesar Street will close 9 am on September 27,2021.
One (1) eastbound lane and one (1) westbound lane on E Cumberland Avenue between S Meridian Avenue and S Caesar Street will be maintained during construction, with delays.
Sidewalks within the work area will be closed. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times during construction.
All lanes on E Cumberland Avenue between S Meridian Avenue and S Caesar Street will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, October 8, 2021, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
