Temporary Lane Closures on N 30th Street to begin February 21, 2022, for Utility Construction

A portion of N 30th Street between E Sligh Avenue and E Hanna Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Monday, February 21, 2022, for utility construction. A utility contractor will be installing a conduit on the west side of N 30th Street between E Jean Street and E Howell Street.

The southbound lane on N 30th Street between E Sligh Avenue and E Hanna Avenue will close at 9 am beginning on February 21, 2022.

Southbound and northbound traffic will be intermittently maintained on the east side of N 30th Street between E Sligh Avenue and E Hanna Avenue at all times during construction, with delays.

Sidewalks in the construction area will be closed. Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks in the area with signage.

All lanes on N 30th Street between E Sligh Avenue and E Hanna Avenue will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Sunday, August 21, 2022, weather permitting.

The city recommends using alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.

Southbound and northbound motorists can use N 22nd Street between E Sligh Avenue and E Hanna Avenue in lieu of N 30th Street.
