Temporary Lane Closures on N 30th Street to begin October 8, 2021 for Utility Construction

A portion of N 30th Street between E Bougainvillea Avenue and E Fowler Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Friday, October 8, 2021 for utility construction. A utility contractor will be installing sanitary sewer connection on the east side of N 30th Street between E 109th Avenue and E 113th Avenue. Two (2) northbound lanes, the center auxiliary lane and one (1) southbound lane on N 30th Street between E Bougainvillea Avenue and E Fowler Avenue will close at 9 am beginning on October 8, 2021.

One (1) northbound and one (1) southbound lane of traffic will be maintained on the west side of N 30th Street between E Bougainvillea Avenue and E Fowler Avenue at all times during construction, with delays.

Sidewalks in the construction area will be closed. Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks in the area with signage.

All lanes on N 30th Street between E Bougainvillea Avenue and E Fowler Avenue will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Thursday, December 30, 2021, weather permitting.

The City recommends using alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.

Northbound and southbound motorists can use N 22nd Street or N McKinley Drive between E Bougainvillea Avenue and E Fowler Avenue, in lieu of N 30th Street.

Northbound and southbound trucks can use N McKinley Drive between E Bougainvillea Avenue and E Fowler Avenue, in lieu of N 30th Street.
