A portion of N West Shore Boulevard between W Spruce Street / W Boy Scout Boulevard and W Cypress Street will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Monday, April 5, 2021, for utility construction. A utility contractor will be accessing a communication manhole in the southbound lane on N West Shore Boulevard between the Ramada Inn entrance drive and W Cypress Street to install fiber optic conduit across N West Shore Boulevard.
One (1) southbound lane on N Westshore Boulevard between W Laurel Street and W Cypress Street will close between 9 am and 4 pm beginning on April 5, 2021.
One (1) southbound lane on N Westshore Boulevard between W Laurel Street and W Cypress Street will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.
Sidewalks within the work area will be closed during construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.
It is anticipated that all lanes on N Westshore Boulevard between W Laurel Street and W Cypress Street will reopen by 4 pm on Friday, April 9, 2021, weather permitting.
The City recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid congestion. Southbound motorists can use N Lois Avenue between W Boy Scout Boulevard and W Cypress Street, in lieu of N Westshore Boulevard.
