Temporary Lane Closures W Bay to Bay Boulevard to begin January 4, 2021 for Utility Construction

A portion of W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S West Shore Boulevard and S Manhattan Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Monday, January 4, 2021 for utility construction. A City of Tampa contractor will be completing relining of the sewer lines on W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S West Shore Boulevard and S Manhattan Avenue. Intermittent eastbound and westbound lane closures on W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S West Shore Boulevard and S Manhattan Avenue will begin at 9 am on January 4, 2021.

One (1) lane of eastbound and westbound traffic will be intermittently maintained on W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S West Shore Boulevard and S Manhattan Avenue at all times during construction, with delays.

It is anticipated that all lanes on W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S West Shore Boulevard and S Manhattan Avenue will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, January 22, 2021, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.

Eastbound and westbound motorists can use W El Prado Boulevard or W Swann Avenue between S West Shore Boulevard and S Manhattan Avenue, in lieu of W Bay to Bay Boulevard.
