A portion of W Cypress Street between N Westshore Boulevard and N Lois Avenue will close beginning on Thursday, January 7, 2021 for building maintenance. A private contractor will stage a crane on W Cypress Street between N Hubert Avenue and N Lois Avenue to do air conditioning repair on the Meridian Three office building. The eastbound lanes on W Cypress Street between N Hubert Avenue and N Lois Avenue will close at 9 am on January 7, 2021.
Westbound lanes will be maintained at all times during construction.
The sidewalk on the south side of W Cypress Street between N Hubert Avenue and N Lois Avenue will be closed during construction. Pedestrian access will be available on the north side of W Cypress Street at all times.
All lanes on W Cypress Street between N Hubert Avenue and N Lois Avenue will be open by 4 pm on Sunday, January 10, 2021, weather permitting.
The City recommends using alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
