A portion of Bayshore Boulevard between W Bay to Bay Boulevard and El Prado Boulevard will close on Saturday, June 27, 2021 for building maintenance. A private contractor will be installing a crane on the southbound lanes of Bayshore Boulevard between W Julia Street and W El Prado. Southbound traffic between W Mason Street and W El Prado Boulevard will close beginning at 7 am on June 27, 2021.
U-turn movements will be allowed for southbound traffic on Bayshore Boulevard at W Julia Street at all times during construction.
Sidewalks in the construction area will be closed during the construction. Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks with signage.
Bayshore Boulevard between W Mason Street and W El Prado Boulevard will be open to traffic by 5 pm on Saturday, June 27, 2021, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid congestion.
