A portion of E 8th Avenue between Nuccio Parkway and N 21st Street and N 17th Street between E 7th Avenue and E Palm Avenue will close beginning on Thursday, July 1, 2021 for a film shoot. E 8th Avenue between N 15th Street and Angel Oliva Senior Street and N 17th Street between E 7th Avenue and E 9th Avenue will close at 11 pm on July 1, 2021.
The sidewalk within the work area will be closed during film shoot. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.
E 8th Avenue between N 15th Street and Angel Oliva Senior Street and N 17th Street between E 7th Avenue and E 9th Avenue will reopen to traffic by 2 am on Friday, July 2, 2021, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
Eastbound and westbound motorists can use E 7th Avenue or E Palm Avenue between N 15th Street and N 19th Street, in lieu of E 8th Avenue.
Northbound and southbound motorists can use N 15th Street or N 19th Street between E 7th Avenue and E Palm Avenue, in lieu of N 17th Street.
