A portion of Henderson Boulevard between W Bay to Bay Boulevard and S Manhattan Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Monday, January 4, 2021 for utility construction. A City of Tampa contractor will be completing relining of the sewer lines on Henderson Boulevard between W Sunset Boulevard and S Manhattan Avenue. The northbound lane on Henderson Boulevard will close between W Sunset Boulevard and S Manhattan Avenue beginning at 9 am on January 4, 2021.
Access to Henderson Boulevard from S Toronto Avenue will be prohibited at all times during construction.
It is anticipated that all lanes on Henderson Boulevard between W Sunset Boulevard and S Manhattan Avenue will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, January 22, 2021, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
Northbound motorists can use S Manhattan Avenue between W Bay to Bay Boulevard and Henderson Boulevard, in lieu of Henderson Boulevard.
